The chainmaille jewelry you'll find on these pages were designed and handcrafted By Frank Lieberman and Lynn Kurtz.
They bring more than 70 years of chainmaille knitting experience between them. Frank started way back in 1972, under the company name Negra Khan Armory, and Lynn joined him in 1988. Together, they have been knitting beautiful, elegant jewelry for movies, musicians and just everyday people. For several years, Frank was working with his adopted daughter, Cindy Ridgway under her company name Cearweddwen's Creations. We honor Cindy's memory after her passing, by using her company name as part of ours, at the faires we attend. You'll see the name "Romantic Chainmaille Jewelry by Cearweddwen's Creations" on our current business cards.
We pride ourselves on our work and have specific quality requirements to ensure that the headpieces and drapes do not get caught in your hair, although we do freely admit that they tend to catch on tightly braided hair or artificial hair extensions. We haven't quite figured that out yet, but we're working on it!
